one of the most trusted sources in the hobby, this fabulous jersey is boldly
signed "Ken Griffey Jr". Accompanying the signature is an affixed
hologram and a hand-written number (211/240) matching those on the Upper Deck
Authenticated Certificate of Authenticity. Also included is the original registration
card. The jersey is magnificiently framed and matted with conservation glass
and an inset with inscriptions (lower left corner) highlighting Griffey's career.
With an impending run at Hank Aaron's All-Time Home Run record, there could be no piece of memorabilia in higher demand and with more potential than this one.

Tony Gwynn 1999 Game-used Baseball Bat

A spectacular bat from Tony Gwynn's 3000th hit season (1999). This genuine B236 Louisville Slugger shows excellent use including an optimal amount of pine tar, numerous baseball marks on the barrel, and a meticulously Gwynn-taped handle. Tony Gwynn has signed his name in bold, black sharpie on the barrel of the bat (with #19 uniform number). Additionally, it should be noted that this gorgeous piece of baseball nostalgia is uncracked!
How many other uncracked, game-used, non-commercialized Tony Gwynn bats have we seen from 1999? None. Our guess is that when a hitter is approaching 3000 hits, he doesn't just "give away" perfectly good game bats.
The best quality about this bat? Unlike some "forensically authenticated" items on the Internet, it's real. Our policy has never been to offer some generic & nearly meaningless Certificate of Authenticity with the memorabilia we sell. Instead, accompanying this bat is a dated and notarized letter from the original owner (a bat boy and clubhouse attendant with the San Diego Padres) discussing his relationship with Tony Gwynn and the circumstances under which he was given the game-used bat. In essence--a complete historical background and full documentation of provenance.
Price: $3,000

1998 New York Yankees World Series Black Bat

Beginning with their popular and widely coveted 1991 World Series Black bats, Hillerich and Bradsby (Louisville Slugger) greatly diminished their production--almost to the extent that current issues, such as the 1998 Yankees World Series bat, are impossible to locate. According to officials at H&B, the black bats are just too difficult to produce in large quantities. Adding to the appeal of this fantastic item is the now legendary status of the 1998 Yankees as perhaps the greatest team of all time.
How many 1998 New York Yankees World Series Black bats are available in the hobby today? Probably no more than a handful. This example is not only in mint condition, but comes with the original presentation card and all of the original packaging, INCLUDING the original Louisville Slugger box!
Price: $4,500
